It is an excellent time for anyone to purchase a home. For first time homebuyers it is the perfect time. The interest rates are low and the prices of homes are extremely low. What a wonderful combination. Now the government is offering up to an $8000 tax credit for first time homebuyers. I don't think it can get much better for buyers, especially first time homebuyers.
